Guide to Applying False Lashes: Tips and Tools

False lashes can transform your look, adding drama and definition to your eyes. However, mastering the art of applying them can seem tricky. With the right steps and tools, you can achieve a flawless finish every time.

Step 1: Prepare Your Lashes Start by curling your natural lashes with an eyelash curler. This step ensures that your natural eyelashes blend seamlessly with the falsies, providing a natural lift. Gently clamp the curler at the base of your lashes, hold for a few seconds, then release.

Step 2: Choose the Right Lashes Select lashes that complement your eye shape and desired look. For a natural effect, opt for lashes that gradually lengthen towards the outer corners. For more drama, go for voluminous or winged styles.

Step 3: Trim and Shape False eyelash extensions often come in standard lengths, which might be too long for your eyes. Measure the lash strip against your lash line and trim any excess from the outer corner. Always cut from the outer edge, never the inner corner, to maintain the natural taper.
